Big
Band Itinerary
This
itinerary includes 1,000 miles of cruising along the Columbia
Snake
and Willamette Rivers - from Astoria near the
Pacific Ocean, through the Columbia River Gorge and all the
way to Idaho at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater
Rivers. We’ve planned this cruise so that many places
you pass by at night are viewed in daytime during your return
down the river. You'll pass through eight locks and dams, view
the dramatic cliffs and waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge,
visit historic forts, and learn how the Native Americans, early
missionaries and Oregon Trail pioneers lived during the early
days of Northwest exploration.
